I can’t wait to share with you my love for life and the importance of overall wellbeing. Thank you so much for expressing interest in learning more about me and my personal journey. I truly look forward to getting to know more about you and your unique path, as each one is special and valuable in its own way!
I began my journey in bodywork training in 1999 at the Heartwood Institute, nestled in the serene landscape of Northern California, and completed my education in 2001 at the Polarity Realization Institute located in Portland, ME. My specialties are varied and include deep tissue massage, relaxation techniques, result-based therapeutic work, prenatal massage, reflexology, and sports massage, allowing me to cater to a wide range of client needs. I effectively relieve conditions such as migraine headaches, carpal tunnel syndrome, and pain in the back, hips, and shoulders. A few years ago I dedicated time to training in Thai Bodywork, a healing practice that I can incorporate, along with stretching techniques, into any massage session, although it’s not offered as a standalone service. Additionally, I hold training in cupping and hot compress herbal therapy, both of which I can include in my massage treatments. Recently, I celebrated the completion of a certification in Integrative Nutrition Health Coaching, focusing on the fascinating complexities of the microbiome and the challenges of emotional eating—areas I’ve long been passionate about exploring and am thrilled to share with my clients. Over the last decade, I have developed a deep passion for long-distance running, having successfully completed numerous road and trail races, including a 100-mile ultra-race. This experience has equipped me with extensive knowledge of running training, exercise regimens, and nutritional strategies. When I'm not working with my clients, I spend time with my husband and our three incredible kids—our identical twin daughters, who are now 16, and our son, who is 15. We enjoy outdoor activities together at the beach, camping trips, biking adventures, and swimming excursions. We currently reside in Scarborough with our two cats, creating a very lively household!
